First off, these lights are hands down the best there is, stop debating and just buy them, you will not regret! Now lets talk customer service...I had an incident with my evo light, no fault at all to Outbound, my bad....I emailed them to see if they could help, Jason responded and took great care of me. When he came up with a solution I was with a group of people who I ride with and they all said Outbound has the best customer service and told me a couple stories of how theywere helped as well.....Customer Service is everything....Thank you Jason and everyone at Outbound for a great product and awesome customer service!!

OK team - MTB was the goal so I purchased the Trail Evo and the Detour lights after 20 years of mediocre light buys - I intended on keeping just one - HOWEVER - given the absolute build quality and output I have deployed these across all my rigs that move - 2 Yeti MTBs, Segway P100s, Surron, Honda HSS1332ATD----for one reason ———— the OEM and 'White Label' light options are blown away by Outbound.

EVO Downhill Package
These lights are amazing! They are extremely bright and the field of vision is very wide. They give you so much confidence when riding at night. so much confidence I even got a PR on one of my favorite trails at night. The mounts are secure and the lights don't rattle around when descending. You will be leading the group ride if you have these lights. The hangover light is great for urban riding at night as well, it is so bright it makes you even more visible to cars.

Super bright
Love these lights, they really light up the woods. When I'm riding mountain bike, all my friends have them, they love them so I got them. I just hope that the battery lasts for years. Otherwise it's kind of a waste of money. Let's hope they did the research, which i'm sure they did

It’s just incredible

When we launched the Trail Edition back in 2017 it was a game changer for bike lights.
A beam pattern specifically designed for trail riding with a wide evenly illuminated distribution. However it required an external battery pack, and we had lots of customers wanting to go wireless.

Advanced Optical Engineering
When we developed Evo’s beam pattern, we knew we could go wider and brighter, so we redefined our illumination goals, target candela points, beam angles, and then went to work simulating, testing, prototyping and developing the most seamless pattern we've built to date.
The extreme width is thanks to the finely tuned blended Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics. Hundreds of simulations with Lucidshape software let us squish, squeeze, stretch and shape the light to hit that perfect balance of peak brightness, smooth falloff and insane peripheral coverage.

Rock Solid Mounting
A good light isn’t so good if it’s bouncing up and down on all the time. That’s why we made a bolt-on clamp mount for Evo. It’s solidly locked to the bar and the beam won’t shake around like lights with rubber strap mounts do.

Thermally Engineered
High power bike lights get hot, that is why we use our engineering prowess to keep them cool. Utilizing another industry first, we collect air through a scoop underneath the light, and pass it through the light, cooling all nine LED's that are spread apart to balance the heat load.
