Got mine last week and its been great for fat biking, hoping to get out on dirt soon for some copper harbor night laps. I was initially worried about the lack of removable batteries for when they eventually die but I saw you guys will replace the cells so I'm all on board!!

This light is amazing! I have only used it for my commute thus far (I know, brought a bazooka to a pool noodle fight...) Cannot wait to bring it out on trail once the snow melts!

Awesome Customer Service
I travel yearly to the Yucatan Peninsula to visit family and friends. This year I brought my OutboundLighting Trail Evo and Hangover to do some jungle night rides. These lights were the best and I was frequently asked where I got them or if I would sell them. Well, during one ride, we got caught up in a heavy downpour, tropical style. The TE, continued working perfectly. It wasn’t until I arrived home after the ride it started to short circuit and turn off and on by itself, randomly. I notified OutboundLighting and was helped by Jason. Long story short, Jason said to send back the Trail Evo, to inspect and repair or replace. He kept his word and I have a new Trail Evo on my bike and having awesome night rides. Thank you OutboundLighting, I look forward to meeting the crew at the Sea Otter this year.

Cannot Live W/O This Light!
My trail evo light has been the crown jewel of my daily ride from the day it landed on my doorstep!
Every day riding with this light has been a safe and satisfying journey.
I usually ride alone in an urban setting, most recently trekking from Rancho Cucamonga all the way to downtown LA-LA to Beverly Hills to South Central, all the way back into Mid-City. I am able to be absolutely fearless through the darkest streets the city had to offer.
Nothing more illuminating than this torch on the road, bike trail, etc!

The Bike Light Evolution:
When we launched the Trail Edition back in 2017 it was a game changer for bike lights.
A beam pattern specifically designed for trail riding with a wide evenly illuminated distribution. However it required an external battery pack, and we had lots of customers wanting to go wireless.

Advanced Optical Engineering
When we developed Evo’s beam pattern, we knew we could go wider and brighter, so we redefined our illumination goals, target candela points, beam angles, and then went to work simulating, testing, prototyping and developing the most seamless pattern we've built to date.
The extreme width is thanks to the finely tuned blended Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics. Hundreds of simulations with Lucidshape software let us squish, squeeze, stretch and shape the light to hit that perfect balance of peak brightness, smooth falloff and insane peripheral coverage.

Rock Solid Mounting
A good light isn’t so good if it’s bouncing up and down on all the time. That’s why we made a bolt-on clamp mount for Evo. It’s solidly locked to the bar and the beam won’t shake around like lights with rubber strap mounts do.

Thermally Engineered
High power bike lights get hot, that is why we use our engineering prowess to keep them cool. Utilizing another industry first, we collect air through a scoop underneath the light, and pass it through the light, cooling all nine LED's that are spread apart to balance the heat load.
