Trail Evo Bike Light
I have to say, the Outbound Lighting Trail Evo has completely transformed my night riding experience. This light is nothing short of a game-changer for mountain biking after dark. I love how straightforward this light is to operate. The big, glove-friendly button means I can change modes even when I'm in thick gloves, and the interface is simple enough not to distract you from the ride. Plus, the battery indicator lets you know exactly when it's time to recharge, so there's no guesswork involved.

Allows Safe Night Riding on Technical MTB Trails at Normal Speeds. Exceptional Customer Service.
I was told by a very experienced MTB rider that this was the best and most highly engieered light for MTB's, so I bought it.
He was right.!
I ride on some very technical vertically exposed single track where mistakes lead to ER visits (don't ask how I know this) or worse. With this light I am able to safely ride at normal speeds well into the night. Other lights I tried were not bright or wide enough and required much slower riding. The wide beam is essential on curvy single track rides. It also lasts long enough for my multi-hour rides and has excellent charge indication led's. If it does run low it dims but does not go out suddenly. A great safety feature.
I did have an issue with the hex nut on the quick release system vibrating lose so remember to tighten when you check your other bike bolts. As a result I lost the light while it was on the car rack. I purchased another as I am not going night riding without it. I asked for a replacement nut so I could have mounts on both of my bikes.
The Customer Service team was exceptional. They immediately shipped a replacement mount for free and gave me a partial refund for the second purchase. Unexpected! A great product and an excellent company.

Wonderful lighting system.

The Bike Light Evolution:
When we launched the Trail Edition back in 2017 it was a game changer for bike lights.
A beam pattern specifically designed for trail riding with a wide evenly illuminated distribution. However it required an external battery pack, and we had lots of customers wanting to go wireless.

Advanced Optical Engineering
When we developed Evo’s beam pattern, we knew we could go wider and brighter, so we redefined our illumination goals, target candela points, beam angles, and then went to work simulating, testing, prototyping and developing the most seamless pattern we've built to date.
The extreme width is thanks to the finely tuned blended Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics. Hundreds of simulations with Lucidshape software let us squish, squeeze, stretch and shape the light to hit that perfect balance of peak brightness, smooth falloff and insane peripheral coverage.

Rock Solid Mounting

Thermally Engineered
High power bike lights get hot, that is why we use our engineering prowess to keep them cool. Utilizing another industry first, we collect air through a scoop underneath the light, and pass it through the light, cooling all nine LED's that are spread apart to balance the heat load.
